Downtown Nashville Parking TIPS

1. On street parking at a metered spot is FREE after 6pm. These spots are .25 cents for 15 minutes before 6pm.

2. Parking on 1^st Avenue between Broadway and Church Street is FREE after 5pm.

3. The garage (Commerce Garage) on Church street between 2^nd and 3^rd is $10 per day/every day, even during special events.

4. Gay Street has FREE parking after 6pm.

5. Gay Street Parking Garage is also a cheap alternative.

The best odds for parking downtown is to try to find FREE parking first. Majority of the time, you can drive around and someone will be leaving a free spot. It usually only takes making a loop around 2^nd Ave to Church, back down 1^st Avenue and right onto Broadway a couple of times to find a spot. If all else fails, you can just pay $10 for parking at the Commerce Garage (above Sbarro’s Pizza).
